A sensor alarm, inspection result, reliability metric, maintenance event, or process deviation is evidence. Its value comes from understanding the operating context, deciding whether action is warranted, and learning whether the intervention improved the outcome.

ASSET HEALTH & CONDITION

Asset-health information can come from sensors, inspections, corrosion and integrity programs, process conditions, maintenance records, alarms, operator observations, OEM systems, and field history.
